An dieser Stelle möchten wir euch unser neues Haustier vorstellen! Sushi ein siamesischer Fighting-Fish :) Sobald sich 2 Männchen zu nah kommen, kann das für einen sehr schlecht ausgehen... deshalb Fighting-Fish! Normalerweise werden diese Fische in Miniatur-Aquarien verkauft (siehe Curiosity of the day III - 2), aber weil wir wollen, dass Sushi es richtig gut hat, haben uns für eine geräumigere Wohnung entschieden! Warum haben wir uns einen Fisch gekauft? Haben wir nicht! Basti hat Sushi von einem Event-Abend mitgebracht, an dem er bedient hat! Jeder Tisch hatte dort ein großes Glas mit einem Fighting-Fish in der Mitte. Nach dem Event wurden die Fische an die Gäste verteilt und als Basti mit der Arbeit fertig war, waren noch 2 Fische übrig... So war das! Den Weg nach Hause musste Sushi in einer Plastik-Tüte verbringen und die Nacht in einem Plastikbehälter- aber am nächsten Tag hat sich Carina in ihrer Pause auf den Weg zum Pet-Shop gemacht und alles gekauft was einen Fisch glücklich macht :D Zwischenzeitlich war Sushi so schwach, dass er nur noch am Boden lag, aber nach fürsorglicher Behandlung schwimmt er glücklich durch sein Reich & hat sich zum Vielfraß entwickelt... wenn man an das Aquarium kommt schwimmt er immer in die Ecke in der wir ihm Fressen geben! Ein Fisch mit Persönlichkeit! :) Das gelbe Brett ist nur dafür da, damit wir ihn vor dem schwarzen Hintergrund sehen können, da er selbst ziemlich dunkel ist.
Das Queen-Viktoria-Building... eher etwas für den größeren Geldbeutel...
Am Sonntag sind wir etwas früher aufgestanden, weil Carina ein Vorstellungsgespräch bei Subway hatte. Bei dieser Gelegenheit haben wir uns nochmal auf den Weg zu den Chinese-Gardens gemacht...
Die Bilder sprechen wohl für sich... unglaublich, dass man mitten im hektischen Sydney so etwas finden kann!
Am Samstag auf dem Weg durch das fast menschenleere Sydney zum Löwenbräuhaus. Aufgrund der APEC war die Innenstadt gesperrt, es fuhren keine Busse und Bahnen und überall war ein sehr hohes Polizeiaufkommen. Im Löwenbräuhaus kommt man sich wirklich wie in Deutschland vor, es gibt nur deutsche Gerichte und die meisten Kellner sind auch deutsch... würde da nicht Rugby auf den Fernsehern laufen ;) Wir haben uns schonmal Plätze für das Oktoberfest am 22. September gesichert:D

Fantastische Bilder sind das vom Chinesischen Garten. Es lohnt sich also doch, ab und zu mal früh auf zu stehen ;-)
mensch, ein wenig gemütlicher könnte es sushi schon haben... wenigstens eine kleine höhle im aquarium oder eine burgruine könnte doch drin sein. statt dessen bekommt der arme jung ein schneidebrett als background, wie "bedeutend".
Ansonsten sieht das ja alles nach einem schönen aufenthalt auf!
